I am a native German speaker and I am far from claiming my English is perfect. I use these tools regularly to find the right words. While all the signs shown to the left (they are all from the engrishfunny website, see link below) are more or less only funny, amiable and well-ment, people who target a business audience on the Internet, are Europeans and claim to be a market leader, should try harder to express themselves in a proper way.
Now take a look at these Google search results. Can't find anything? Well, they probably corrected it (well done, this is the sense of this article). "By us is that otherwise" one can read there, which is a word by word translation of the German sentence "Das ist bei uns anders." Translated to English this means "We do it differently".
If this would be the only funny phrase there, it would not be worth writing about it, but read the whole page...
Anyone who has visited a foreign country knows the difficulty of translating to a foreign language. This confusion can be overwhelming, whether haggling on the street or buying online. The key thing to remember is you don't want automatically translated pages to be indexed by search engines.
Asian languages are much more challenging than western ones and no one should laugh about the experiments of uneducated people to attract tourists. But for professionals it is a must to either do it right or let it be.
I have nothing to do with the authors of the concerned website anymore, but I do hope by us is that otherwise. No harm meant, anyway.

A customer sent me a link to the web as a dictionary I had never heard of before. It seems to be pretty smart because it doesn't just do a word by word translation, but also shows you how other people translated. It translates the term like this.
